Cha-Ching is an award-winning financial literacy programme, developed by Prudence Foundation and sponsored by Prudential Hong Kong, that instils sound financial habits and responsibility in children. Through a sing-and-learn experience featuring cartoons and hands-on activities in the Cha-Ching Sing & Learn Workshop, students learn about the four fundamental financial concepts of Earn, Save, Spend, and Donate, and develop a healthy attitude towards money. Over the past decade, Cha-Ching has been taught to more than 3.9 million children in classrooms across 14 countries in Asia and Africa, and over 123,000 teachers have been trained.
Cha-Ching Curriculum is designed to instill the practical concepts about the use of money. The goals of Cha-Ching Curriculum are to:
Students are encouraged to use divergent and critical thinking to make decisions on how they manage their money applying the four concepts, Earn, Save, Spend, and Donate in their daily life which support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their money-management skills.
